In 2009 Damiani was chosen to create ‘The Bombshell Fantasy Bra’. 85 year-old Italian jewelry house Damiani, recognized around the world for exquisite design and craftmanship, recipient of an unprecedented 18 ‘Diamonds International Awards’. A team of 15 highly skilled and experienced artisans worked for over 800 hours. Marisa Miller - the Californian supermodel - has been chosen to wear the most expensive Bra of the Year.

Indeed there have been even more expensive diamond Fantasy Bras: Adriana Lima (€5M), Tyra Banks (€6.6M). Most outrageously expensive: Heidi Klum and Gisele Bündchen (each €9M). The ‚Heavenly Star’ of the German supermodel Heidi Klum was designed by New York jewellery Mouawad. Gisele Bündchen’s bra was made by 18k white gold, 2900 diamonds (total 112-carats), 22 rubies and a single 70-carats diamond.

Adriana Lima in 2010 again did present a Damiani creation. A team of 6 artisans worked 1,500 hours: 2,000 diamonds - 60 carats of diamonds and 82 carats of blue sapphires and blue topazes. Soon Vicoria’s Secret will unveil the 2011 Diamond Fantasy Bra. Wait for it with bated breath...
